Who is Ryan Daniels?!!

Ryan Daniels was spawned in a wee little town in West-Central Texas.

After his first 18 years of life, he transplanted to Colorado. There he began to learn life

above 10,000ft; high adrenaline activities such as rock climbing, climbing 14ers, snowboarding, 

4x4 trails & rock crawlers, kayaking and boating.  Along the way his artistic ideas went from the

sketch pad to film.  Over the next several years, and a few hundred rolls of film, Ryan also developed

in the industry of radio; learning production and on-air talent.  Using these 2 creative elements He flourished and 

continued to hone his craft before creating Platinum Sound & Imaging.  Freelance Production/Voice &

March 2006-May 2006. Doud Media Group: 95Q/ Bob FM, Abilene, TX.  Marketing Consultant.  Create custom advertising packages, presentations and promotions.  Sell and Maintain clients while developing new portfolio.

January 2005-Nov 2005. Bluestone Television: KTXS-TV, Abilene, TX. Promotions Producer. Write, Shoot and Produce Sweeps, and Daily topicals, Promo’s and PoP’s, and some commercial load. Event Coordinator. Also responsible for allocating ABC radio trade. Children’s Miracle Network Telethon-package production, shoot look-live’s, run set prompter and audio during live telecast.

March 2002-June 2004. Bahakel Communications: 94.3 KILO. Colorado Springs, CO. Air Talent. Weekend Overnight show, imaging, production/ copy, remote talent and set-up. Created “Locals Rule.” Network, web update, live appearances, and Concert listings of Local Bands.

April 2003-June 2004. Joe’s Crab Shack. Colorado Springs, CO. Server and Bar Tender. Food & Drink service & knowledge. Mixology & product satisfaction, customer service.

May 2002- Sept 2002. Westwood One-Metro Traffic. Colorado Springs, CO. Fill-in Producer. Mid-day traffic reports over 5 stations.

August 2000- Feb 2002. Cumulus Broadcasting-95 Rock. Grand Junction, CO. 6pm-Midnight show, then PM Drive/ Imaging Director. Hosted “Bring In The Weekend Party” live remote at Rumors Bar, running 6 months. 3 hr. broadcast, crowd interaction/ games, relations with owners. Avg. turnout: 400.

Sept 1996-May 2000. 91.1 KWSB. Gunnison, CO. Western Sate College radio station. 1 yr. Station Manager, 2 yrs. Production Director, weekly show all 4 years.

June 1996-April 1999. Leisure Sports Photography. Colorado Whitewater Photography/ Monarch Image Makers. Salida, CO. Lab Manager. Opened new lab in new area: photographer, lab, sales, HR, training, display, client relations & development, customer satisfaction, machine maintanance, report to headquarters 1x / week.

Awards:

* 95 Rock night show pulled 28.6 AQH. Highest rating in Cumulus Grand Junction books.

* 7 Awards of Excellence (over 3 years attending) Colorado Broadcasters Association. fields include Station Imaging and On  Air Promotional Campaigns.
